COMMUNITY GRANTS

Giving Back Through Project Impact
CommunityWorx launched Project Impact as an expansion of our work in the community on behalf of youth and families to increase the benefits we provide for students. Through the fund, we’ve helped support unfunded and under-funded school needs for more than six decades and have committed 5% of net profits to Project Impact.

How It Works
In March of each year, schools in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school district are invited to submit their most compelling, innovative and collaborative projects to Project Impact funding in a competitive process. The winning projects demonstrate high impact and measurable results. Finalists are selected in the spring, and funds are dispersed at the beginning of the new school year in October. Funding priorities are STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), arts, classroom supplies and under-resourced students.

How To Apply
We invite you to join us in funding this amazing opportunity for our schools! Your gift to Project Impact enables more students to fulfill their potential and have a rewarding educational experience. Apply here! Our open dates for the application are March 1 – April 4, 2020 for school year 2020-2021. We will inform applicants on whether or not they were selected for funding by May 31, 2020 and disperse funds at the end of October 2020. (Our school year 2019-2020 grant cycle is closed and funds will be dispersed at the end of October 2019).
